with your Function Manager who will be more than happy to advise.
The Great Hall
With its oak panelling, original woodcarvings, grand staircase and open fire,
the Great Hall is suitable for all manner of events. It is ideal as an awe-inspiring
reception area, perfect for a medieval banquet or for a compelling auction.
This room is also licensed for the civil marriage ceremony.
The Dining Room
A warm and inviting, yet formal, room which is a firm favourite for business
seminars and presentations. For weddings, this room provides an ideal setting
for the reception or, if preferred, a wedding ceremony for smaller numbers.
The Bar
Formerly a billiard room, this is perfect for corporate lunches and buffets.
The smallest of the three principal rooms, the Bar, as its name suggests, contains
a sizeable mahogany bar, leather sofas, piano, bar stools and tables, and a
stone fireplace. The bar can be stocked and staffed as required.
The Library
The intimate library is ideal for small groups such as board meetings or can
be used as a break-out room for larger events. Beautifully decorated,
this room boasts original architectural features and a fireplace in a quiet
and private setting. This is the smallest of the three rooms licensed for the
civil marriage ceremony.
